Every home is different and requires different cleaning times. As we do not perform in-home estimates for our general cleanings and/or first time cleanings, our phone estimates are based on the information each client gives our office representatives. Often upon arrival to the home and after a walk-through of the space it can be determined that the appointment will require additional time to clean the entire space.
If additional time is needed, Lake Keowee Housekeeping will always call the client before the end of the appointment. If the client authorizes the additional time requested by Lake Keowee Housekeeping the client understands that additional charges will be incurred.
If the client does not authorize the additional time requested the client understands that Lake Keowee Housekeeping will complete the job to the best of their ability. The client also understands that if they do not approve the additional time that the entire home may not be cleaned and that Lake Keowee Housekeeping will clean priority areas given by the client first.
If the appointment requires additional time and Lake Keowee Housekeeping cannot contact the client during the duration of the appointment, Lake Keowee Housekeeping will leave the appointment at the end of the scheduled cleaning time and will complete the job to the best of the cleaning consultant’s ability.
Please note that all initial cleanings generally take longer as it is the first time we are cleaning your home.
Our cleaning consultants arrive equipped with cleaning products that are eco-friendly and socially responsible, and cleaning equipment. If you would like for the cleaning consultants to use some other products or tools than what we have, please provide them.
We understand that there are times when you might need to cancel, reschedule or change your cleaning appointment. We ask that you give us 48 (business) hours advance notice to cancel, reschedule or change your appointment. Due to the high demand for our services, if you cancel, reschedule or change your appointment within less than 48 (business) hours of your scheduled appointment, you will incur a $35 cancellation fee.
**Any appointments canceled or rescheduled less than 24 (business) hours of the scheduled start time of the appointment will be charged the full amount of the cleaning.
**If a cleaning consultant arrives at a scheduled cleaning appointment and is unable to gain access to the home the client will be responsible for paying the full amount of the cleaning.
We understand how important your pets are to you. We are a pet-friendly company and will gladly receive special instructions regarding your pet’s safety. We do ask however if your pet(s) become stressed or aggressive when around unfamiliar people that you contain them in a locked area during the cleaning. Due to health concerns, we do not handle any pet feces.
As it is our goal to always provide our clients with outstanding service due to the safety of our cleaning consultants and the utmost concern of your delicate items we cannot provide the following services:
Please inform us of any special instructions you may want to add to your cleaning appointment. Additionally if you have any items in your home that have special cleaning instructions please let us know. Please feel free to be as detailed as possible.
Unless otherwise requested the following areas will not be serviced in general cleanings: Inside of the refrigerator, inside of the stove, windows, and laundry room and services . Per your request we will gladly provide the above services. Please be aware that the above services add additional time to your cleaning appointments, which will result in additional charges.
We accept payment via Venmo, cash or check. All electronic payments must be made the day prior to scheduled cleaning. Please leave your payment on your kitchen counter in an envelope.
We proudly stand behind our work. Should you have any comments regarding your cleaning, please call us within 24 hours after the end of your cleaning appointment. If there are areas that you feel we have overlooked, we ask that you do not clean those areas yourself, as we will report to your home within 24 hours to re-clean the areas of concern.
